This holds a special place in my heart, this musical was the first that I went and saw with my father. Just hearing the music makes me remember that time, how excited I was to go see it, how excited my dad was to take me. How he pointed out all the different lights (smart lights, LED lights, follow spots) and how he showed me the sound board… But when I look at it now, or hear the music…I just think of how much I miss him. How my life has changed in the past year, how in my own way I’m like simba. Lost.
